We build gear for real use, in real conditions. If something fails because of how it was made, we'll fix it.
What's covered

A manufacturing defect means the product failed because of a flaw in materials or construction — not because of how it was used. Examples: a seam that comes apart under normal wear, a zipper that fails out of the box, a hinge that breaks on eyewear without impact.
This warranty is valid only for products purchased and claimed within India.
What's not covered
- Wear and tear from normal use
- Damage from use — abrasion, impact, accidents, improper care
- Scratched lenses or breakage on eyewear
- Any product that's been altered from its original state
- Products bought from unauthorized resellers
This warranty covers the product failing to do what it was made to do. It doesn't cover the product picking up marks from doing its job — that's expected, and it's not a defect.
What you need
Valid proof of purchase (order number or invoice). No proof of purchase, no claim — this is how we keep the warranty real for everyone who buys directly from us or an authorized reseller.
How to file a claim
- Email care@reccy.in with your order number and a description of the issue.
- Attach a couple of clear photos of the defect.
- We'll respond within 3 business days with next steps — repair, replacement, or a request for more information.
- If approved, we'll cover the cost of repair or replacement. No charge to you.
A few things worth knowing
Does this cover damage from an accident on the trail? No — this is a manufacturing defect warranty, not accident or damage cover. If a strap tears because a buckle was defective, that's covered. If it tears because it caught on a rock, that's wear and tear.
Can I get my warranty transferred if I bought secondhand? No — the warranty applies to the original purchaser with proof of purchase from Reccy or an authorized reseller.
What if I've altered the product — hemmed pants, added a patch, swapped a lens? Any alteration voids the warranty on that product, since we can no longer verify the original construction caused the issue.
Is this warranty valid outside India? No — this warranty is valid only for products purchased and claimed within India.
